I have enjoyed working out and “trying” to eat healthy for the past several years. I had my third child three years ago and have tried many different workout programs to lose the last few pounds. I have always been small framed but not very toned. When I saw Scott advertise his “Fit for Photos” program, I was intrigued and emailed him immediately.
I realized as I started Scott’s program that I wasn’t eating as clean as I thought I was because I was still sneaking in the snacks and processed foods. Being held accountable for your workouts and what you eat can make a huge difference. If I started to veer off track, Scott was there to guide me back. Here is something I wrote in our support group when we were a few weeks into the program.
“I know I’m going to have great results at the end of this but for only being almost two weeks into this, I’m starting to feel awesome! The first week was an adjustment for me to get used to the meal plan but I’m learning a lot about myself in terms of my will power and keeping an open mind. I have more energy and don’t feel the need for caffeine or sugar and I just feel like I’m in a much better mood than I have been in awhile. I’m so glad I’m able to do this program with all of you. I already feel so much healthier!”
The biggest challenge for me was juggling being a mom to three kids, working full time and taking a college course. Time management was crucial. But I was dedicated. I woke up early to make sure I got my workouts in and I am lucky that I have a husband that is supportive and helped with the kids. There was also great support from Scott and everyone else going through the program with me.
Scott is a great coach and I gained so much from his program. I learned healthier eating habits, self-discipline and gained some confidence!
